Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions builders ask most.

Do I need an account to use the portal?

Yes. You sign in with a Google account, and each company gets its own private workspace. Your projects, selections, and quotes are only visible to your team.

What is the difference between Favorites and Selections?

Favorites is a quick personal shortlist, one flat list you build with the heart. Selections are named boards you build with the bookmark and organize by room, project, or client. A selection is what you turn into a quote request.

Can I see sizes in inches?

Yes. Product pages show dimensions in both inches and millimeters, and the configurators let you enter sizes in your project's unit. US projects default to inches; you can change the unit on any project.

Where do the products come from?

Crateworks sources every product through its own supply network and stands behind it. You buy from one company, which keeps a single point of accountability from order to delivery.

Are the products certified?

Where a product carries documented certification, you will see a Cert on file badge and its measured performance figures. Sizes beyond the documented certification envelope are flagged for renovation and replacement use.

How long does delivery take?

Lead times are the full delivered window, including sourcing, freight, and customs, not just production. Timing varies by product, and the exact window is confirmed on your quote.

How do I get a quote?

Add products to your rooms and selections, then tell your Crateworks contact the project is ready. A person prepares a documented quote, and you view it in the portal.
